About us
We are a family company in central Sweden in the cute town of Skövde. Everything started as a hobby but as we noticed lots of interest for our plants, we decided to start a business in 2011. So far, it's been a great experience. Plantiken is a web shop that is continuously looking for new species of rare plants to introduce to you. In our plant nursery we grow a wide range of rare tropical plants. We ship our plants all around the world and our goal is to send healthy, strong plants to our customers. We have a big passion for tropical plants and our mission is to share that passion with our customers. In order to get a wide range of tropical plants we travel to South American and South-East Asia. There we have cooperation with local plants nurseries. When we find plants that we like, we bring them to Sweden, adjust them to the European climate and propagate them. When the plants are ready, we offer them at our web shop.
Quality
We make sure to send perfectly healthy plants to you. You have a 7 days warranty for each plant you buy from us. Our plants are coming directly from our greenhouse nursery, which reduces transport time. We want you to always feel happy with your order, therefore you're always welcome to contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your order.
Shipping
We ship our plants by cooperating with wide range of shipping companies. This means that you will get your plants at short notice and the plants will be in perfect condition.
Partners
Our main business partner is a small plant nursery in Ecuador. They supply us with seeds and with young plants that we later propagate and sell.
